A Scary Story Of An Employee At Walmart

I read some Walmart stories about creeps following and loitering around. Also, I have been a witness to some really shady Walmart officials from the upper management, who get things done the way they want them. In a corporate structure, all they care about is the results and charts. They rarely value the lives of the people working there. We are not robots. We are humans. Anyway, let me tell you my story from the time I was a part of Walmart. I worked for Walmart about 12 years ago for a whopping total of over 10 months. I worked the overnight shift. I was an Overnight Stocker for the pets’ department. The Walmart store that I worked at, had just got a brand new high-rise shelf installed. They were said to be able to hold a weight of over a ton. Well, one night after getting all my regular freight stocked, and the overstock put into the bins, my bosses had me pull 8 pallets of Arm & Hammer cat litter. These boxes had a bonus of 10 pounds inside, making them nearly 35 or so pounds a...

Paranormal Activities at Walmart

I worked at the Walmart store for many years. I have read a lot of horror stories on Reddit about things that happen to people at their jobs. Honestly, I cannot conceive of most of it happening at Walmart. Besides that, I have never witnessed problems with working off the clock. I was never even asked to work off the clock. I felt that I was generally paid appropriately for my job. But that didn't mean I hated the shit out of it sometimes, and nothing bad ever happened. I had scores of shitty managers and worked in stores that were managed and run poorly by the staff.   So my story is about a late evening when I was patrolling along the aisles. I was supposed to overlook the recently stocked aisles and ensure everything was in place. A part of my job is to note the fast-selling products and ask the attendant to restock. It was all going well until I saw a kid standing and staring at a snack shelf. At first, I didn’t care much since his mom or dad would be around. But I could hear n...

Terrifying Wendigo experience

It is said that you are not supposed to say any names of the creatures of the woods. You are just inviting it to come to find you. You are not supposed to acknowledge it in any way or form. And I am not just saying it for the sake of saying it. My story took place in the backcountry of the area where I grew up - just a warning for you. My wendigo encounter story might be a little too frightening for some.   So this happened back in 2019. I still remember a massive uproar of unknown creatures roaming the forest, like bigfoot or sasquatch and ski walkers. But my story is not about them. My story is about probably one of the scariest things that I think I have ever heard. The Wendigo! A few months after one of my friends, Jason mentioned this big uproar, I went to go and see him since I had been away, enlisted in the United States Marines.   I got back after being discharged from the military, and one of the first things I did, was to go and see him. We were having a good time ta...

Horror of the unidentifiable creature

A few weeks ago, I went for an evening walk through the woods nearby. The woods are close to where I live. It is generally quiet and peaceful, and apart from the typical few teenagers drinking and doing other teenager stuff, it was quite a chill place to be out for an evening stroll on a summer day. I am very familiar with these woods. I used to come and visit here a lot as a child, so I know there is nothing dangerous here. There is hardly any risk of an animal attack. Actually, in this forest, there are no animals larger than foxes that roam them, so the next part of the story gets weird.  As I walked through the forest trail, the sun began to set. It was roughly around 8 pm, and I began walking out of the forest in the same way I came in. It was then that I started to hear a very ear-piercing scream. It was shrill. It sounded sort of like a woman screaming in anger. It was so loud that I couldn't move for a moment. I looked around and could see nobody, nothing at all. I know fox...

Puzzling death in Yellowstone National Park

I still remember this one incident when my dad and I were out on a camping trip. We had found a dead camper in the Yellowstone National Park when I was 5 or 6.   We were walking casually, throwing stones into the lake. It was like every feel-good vacation movie you've ever seen. As we were chilling, we suddenly saw this guy slumped against a tree. At first, we didn't think much of it, but it was getting cold and dark, and my dad didn't want the guy to fall asleep in a forest and wake up unable to find his way back to his camp. You see, the forest always feels different at night. The best campers might lose their sense of direction. So my dad and I started walking towards him, but the closer we got, the worse it smelt, not like rotting flesh but like shit, literally like shit.   My dad told me to stay back, and he walked over to the guy and asked him if he was okay. The man gave no response. He stayed still - my dad asked again. But just like the first time, there was no res...

Creatures in the woods near Stranrear

I was about eleven, and my sister was thirteen. We slept in the living room of a little caravan. We used to stay near Stranraer. There wasn’t much to do; the campsite had no amenities. I’d pass time playing with my sister, taking walks, or playing the SNES. It was 1998, so Castlevania and Donkey Kong Country weren’t nostalgic - they were just lame. I couldn’t wait to get home and back to the PC to get my Theme Hospital on. But mostly, I’d read. I had a collection of books about ghosts, UFOs, and cryptids. I’d pick them up at library sales or in charity shops. My favorites were the unexplained true stories, like the Dover Demon or the Gulf Breeze incident. There was a quarry on the other side of the site; sometimes at night, I’d pretend the two red lights were the eyes of the Mothman, who’d swoop down to terrorize my family. What I’m getting at here is, I was a kid and had an active imagination, but I never believed anything spooky would happen to me. that if something extraordinary hap...

Mysterious creepy guy

As far as I remember, this happened in the summer of 2004. I was on a camping trip alone in a valley that was a little familiar to me. There was no cell service around. I stayed up till very late on a trail and ran into a local guy as it got dark. He showed me the direction to a local camping spot close to the road and also the river but camouflaged. That sounded interesting. So I went there and set up camp. With me, I carried a kit to set up a campfire. So I lit the fire, drank beer, and listened to my friend’s comedy podcast. I was loud and visible. Because it was dark already, I decided to sleep in the back of my truck, under my topper, next to all of my gear as opposed to setting up my tent. The next morning, I made a fire, cracked a beer, and started making breakfast for myself. That is when I notice a man at the edge of my camp. He comes closer but never looks directly at me. This guy looks like a homeless person. He had a long ratty beard and had at least a hundred plastic groce...
